27 Thank You For Inviting Me To Your Party Messages

Being invited to a party can be fun.

Below, you will find sample messages for how to say thank you for inviting me or us to the party.

This post is part of the thank you for the inviting me series.

Tips:

  • If going to the party, express excitement about attending only if you are excited. I realize that sometimes you may attend a party out of a sense of obligation.
  • Saying thank you doesn’t replace an RSVP. Please also respond to the RSVP in the requested manner.
  • There are many types of parties. Use the example messages as inspiration and adjust as necessary for the type of party (graduation, holiday, New Year’s, etc.)
  • Your wording will vary depending on when you are writing your thank you message:
    • Before the party, attending
    • Before the party, not attending
    • After attending the party

You can see detailed “thank you for the invite” templates and more tips by clicking here.

The examples below are only the center section of your thank you message (when writing a handwritten note or email). You’ll still want to include a greeting, closing, and sign your name. Learn how to write a thank you note for anything here.

The best notes are specific. Be sure to add details to your notes!
