37 Thank You Messages For Appreciation

Being appreciated feels great! Sometimes, knowing how to respond to appreciation can feel challenging when only saying “thank you” doesn’t feel like enough.

The message examples below will give you a few ideas for what you can say to let the person know you appreciate the appreciation.

I have provided examples to help you respond to appreciation. Also, the wording can help you express gratitude to whoever appreciates you. For thanking your boss, you can also review the thank your boss for the appreciation examples.

How To Say Thank You for the Appreciation

As you write a thank you message for appreciation, there are two approaches you can take to express your gratitude.

  1. A Short Message: You can write a quick one-sentence thank-you message to express your gratitude quickly. The response can be sent immediately to acknowledge their words.
  2. A Longer Note: You could also write a longer thank you note sharing what their words of appreciation meant to you.

If you want to write a handwritten notecard, you can decide how important the look and quality of the card are to you (especially if you know the recipient will appreciate a handwritten card). You can also look at my tips for choosing a thank-you card design
