We feed any outdoor cats that come by. We work with the local shelter to find homes for friendly stray cats, and the unfriendly cats are fixed.
Sometimes, a cat may not use a shelter built for them. For example, this cat is sitting ON the top instead of INSIDE.
However, it was a warmer day, and in real life, he does use it to stay out of the rain or to keep warm.
We also have a shed set up for the cats with heated houses in it for during the winter.

Cats are known for being nosy. Sometimes they want to supervise all your activities, even in the bathroom.

When adding more cats to your home, it can take a while for the new and old cats to become buddies. I feel so grateful when they become friends with each other.

Pork Chop, the orange and white tabby, came to my yard for food for years before he let me pet him.
Taking care of a feral cat colony can be hard work. However, it’s rewarding for the feeders when a cat trusts them enough to allow petting.

I learned how to paint to create cat paintings a few years ago.
Painting realistic life like cats is difficult for me. However, I discovered I could paint landscapes and include a cat silhouette.
The black cat is inspired by Midnight, an old senior black cat we fed in the yard for several years until he died. Now, he lives on through my art.
