Virtual Assistant Thank-You Note Message Examples

Virtual Assistants (VA) can do hundreds of tasks for you and should be shown appreciation.

International Virtual Assistants Day is the third Friday in May, making it the perfect day to thank you! Consider giving your assistant the day off, paid, of course.

Why should you thank the Virtual Assistant?

One goal of having a virtual assistant is to save time. They can do things you do not want or do not know how to do.

Matt McWilliams reports that team leaders can increase productivity by 31% with recognition and praise.

Occasionally, writing your virtual assistant a thank-you note is one way to praise them. The thank-you notes should thank them for something specific. “Thanks for the help” is too generic to be meaningful.

Dear [person’s name],

Thank you for researching [insert topic] for me. The way you compiled the lists and organized the information made it easy for me to write the blog post about [topic]. The post was a huge success!

Best regards,
Heidi

#2 I appreciate your transcribing skills. Your accuracy in transcribing the podcasts is very much appreciated. We have received several emails thanking us for providing them, and having the technical words spelled correctly has helped with our site SEO. I will be recommending you to [another podcaster] who is in search of transcription services.

#3 Wow! I looked at the photos in Dropbox today and am impressed with how well you organized them. I can find what I need much faster with the tags you’ve added. I used to spend hours looking for pictures on specific topics. I appreciate your patience with sorting through all of them!

#4 Your social media sharing skills are excellent! I noticed a significant increase in shares, likes, and clicks since you’ve taken over posting to social media sites. I am amazed at your results. The Pinterest boards are much more organized now and are helping people find more information on topics they are interested in. Awesome work!

#5 I logged into [email service] today and noticed how well the lists are organized. This is not something I could have quickly accomplished on my own. I greatly appreciate your help with managing the lists. As a result, we will be able to serve the newsletter subscribers much better now.

#6 I am delighted with your graphic design work. The new logo and all that goes along with it (banners, etc.) look great. We have also received many compliments from readers. Having you on board for the graphics is excellent and saves me so much time as I struggled with the design work. The site looks professional now!

#7 Thank you for maintaining the WordPress plugins and themes. The way you have been able to customize the theme has improved the customer experience on the site. Visitors are staying on the site 50% longer with your design improvements! I am looking forward to seeing the next round of improvements. And I can take comfort in knowing that all plugins are being updated as soon as new versions are released.

#8 The landing pages you have created are lovely! I thought I was good at them until you showed me what you can do! Enrollment in [course name] is up 20% just by your changes. I am thankful for your A/B testing abilities. The results are paying for the time to complete the testing.

#9 Thank you for being an awesome VA! I appreciate everything that you do.

#10 I continue to be delighted that you are part of the team. Thank you for dedication to our social media accounts. You’re great at writing engaging posts!
